FAQs

How do I join?

Go to our Groups page and check out which groups are open. Click “request to join” and you’ll be connected to either: 1) the church office to complete any necessary prior steps, or 2) the group leaders. Once you’re connected to the group leaders, they’ll arrange to connect with you and introduce themselves.

Some of our groups require you to have attended Step Two and completed the Group Participants Commitment Form.

What if it's not a good fit?

Not every request to join is going to work out. If you don’t feel comfortable, you can let the leaders know via email and head back to the website to find a different group opportunity. Alternatively, if the leaders don’t think it’s a good fit, you’ll get a message from a church staff member with suggestions to help you find something that will work.

How big are the groups?

They vary in size but are usually between 6-16 people. Most groups meet in-person while some are meeting online.

When do groups meet?

Groups typically meet weekly during September – June in homes in and around London or at the church building. Most groups meet weekday evenings or Sunday afternoons. A typical group evening schedule is show below:

  • 7:00-7:15 – Arrive and Connect
  • 7:15-8:15 – Bible Discussion and Prayer
  • 8:15-8:30 – Follow Up

Groups will occasionally get together outside their regular meeting each month to enjoy a social gathering or a service opportunity.

What if I can't find a group?

We’ll be trying to update our group attendance every September, January, and April. If you can’t find a group that works for you, check back in three months and see if anything’s changed. Alternatively, see if there is a Training Group coming up or whether you could jump into our Men’s or Women’s ministries in the meantime.
