Next Steps

There is more to Redemption than weekend services.

We want to see people connect with and serve alongside fellow Christ-followers as we work together to grow in our love for God and others.

Step 1: Meet

Step 1 is an informal time to connect with some of our elders, staff, and other leadership. On select Sundays, for 15-20 minutes right after service, just head out the back doors of the worship centre to meet us there. There, we’ll get to know a bit about you and share a few basics about our church with you. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions you might have. We’ll have some water, coffee, and a few snacks for you as well. If you have children in Kids Ministry, please make sure you pick them up first and bring them with you – we’d love to meet the whole family! There’s no need to register for Step 1, just head there after the service. A list of our Step 1 Sundays are below:

Step 2: Learn

Step Two is the next step in making Redemption your church home. This course is designed to help you understand the fundamental elements of Redemption. It is our desire that every person who calls Redemption their church home, and anyone thinking of making this their church home to take this course. Step 2 will help you understand what it truly means to Abide with God, Connect with the Church, and Share with the world by living, what we call, the 5G life. Step 3: Connect

It’s all about discipleship! Small Groups are the best place to connect at Redemption if you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus. Plus, Small Groups are where the primary congregational care happens in our church with the Small Group leaders being our front line shepherds. In a large church like ours, this is where care and support happens. Our Small Groups are designed to help you develop significant relationships with others who can encourage and challenge you to consistently apply the truths of God’s Word to each area of your life. Small Groups are not “another thing” at Redemption; they are the main channel for discipleship and care for each person who is a part of the Redemption family.

Step 4: Give

Follow the biblical command to give regularly, generously and cheerfully as your act of worship. We provide a number of ways for you to give financially to the church.

Step 5: Serve

God has given His church people with various gifts and skill sets, and at Redemption, we have a number of areas where we are always looking for willing volunteers. Serving opportunities include Kids, Operations, Production, Prayer, Guest Services and Local Missions.
