Group of youth together worshiping

What is youth about?

1.

Loving God

2.

Loving Others

3.

Having Fun

How do we manage that? A careful balance of discipleship, preaching God’s Word, praying, worship through song, and evangelism, mixed with fun events like retreats, games and other events (think SkyZone or Laser Tag). We do our best to make sure that all we do fits with our theme verse –

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20

FAQs

Who can come?

If you’re anywhere from grade six to twelve, you can come! Don’t forget to bring a friend! You’re new? No worries! We will hook you up with your leaders and a few students from your grade when you walk in!

When/where do you meet?

Youth meets every Wednesday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m in the Worship Centre upstairs at Redemption Bible Chapel London.

What happens at youth?

Our Youth Ministry has three main components: worship, teaching, and small groups. On most Wednesday nights, we will start with a very quick icebreaker, move into a time of worship through song, have about 25 minutes of teaching from the Bible, and then about 40 minutes in age/gender specific small groups.

What's a small group?

A small group is an age and gender specific group of youth, with two adult leaders. During small group, the group talks about how to apply and live out the teaching in their lives at home, school and with their friends. The groups also pray for one another.
