Robbie Symons is the founding pastor of Hope Bible Church Oakville. His greatest passion is to see lives changed for the glory of God. Hope Oakville has experienced the power and grace of the Lord in its growth from a Bible study of 18 people in 2003 to over 4000 people today. They have also been used to see the birth of several vibrant churches across Canada.
Robbie’s radio ministry through Hope Oakville, called Live in the Light, can be heard daily throughout Southern Ontario, Western New York, and the Atlantic Provinces. He is also the author of Passion Cry: How Apathy is Killing the Church and A Passion for Christ Will Revive It. Robbie has also taken the role of On-Air Bible Teacher at 100 Huntley St. where he deeply desires to reach people with the word of God resulting in a passion for Christ.
Robbie and his wife Gillian live in Burlington, Ontario with their four children.
Norm Millar is the Senior Pastor at Redemption Bible Chapel.
Before going into ministry, Norm had an 18-year career in computer software design and project management.
Norm obtained his MDiv from The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles. In 2000, he planted, with 30 others, SouthWest Community church in London. SouthWest transitioned to Harvest Bible Chapel London in 2006, and in 2018, changed its name to Redemption Bible Chapel. Redemption Bible Chapel is excited to be a member church of the Great Commission Collective (GCC).
Norm graduated in May 2017 with his DMin (focus on preaching) from Southern Seminary.
Norm has been married to Cindy for 41 years. They have five children and 14 grandchildren, with number 2 more on the way.
Ian Hales is the founding and lead pastor of Redemption Church Durham.
Ian grew up in the Durham Region and was blessed with godly Christian parents. He committed his life to Christ at an early age and was called into ministry in his early twenties. He graduated with an MDiv from The Master’s Seminary 2006 and planted Redemption Church in 2010. Since then God has faithfully blessed the church who have grown into a vibrant and thriving gospel community that is passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ian graduated in December 2021 with an DMin in Biblical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Sarah have been married for 18 years and live in Whitby with their three children.
