Raised in New Brunswick, I moved to London with my husband, Travis, in 2011 to complete my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) at Western University. When I was applying to grad schools, we spent a great deal of time researching churches in the cities that had grad schools with SLP programs, and found out about RBC (previously Harvest London). We were praying we would be able to attend. After I was accepted at Western, we drove to London one June weekend, during which the Lord provided us with an apartment, a job interview for Travis, and a chance to hear Pastor Norm speak. We officially moved at the end of July and since then, we have been so blessed by the ministries and the relationships we have formed while attending Redemption. The spiritual growth I have experienced has also been very encouraging. I appreciate the unapologetic, biblical teaching, as well as the chance to be open and accountable with members of my small groups.
My favourite verses are Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.“
Together, Travis and I have 3 young children (1 son and 2 daughters), and live in an an old farmhouse in the country. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, organizing things, and I am about to plant my first vegetable garden.
