Hi, my name is Filomena or Fil for short.

I was born in Vancouver, lived in Portugal until my teen years and finally moved to London, Ontario. I met my best friend and husband at the workplace, and we were married in 2007. Isaac and Rachel are our children and we love to homeschool them along with watching them play their favourite sports, hockey and soccer.

Before we had children, I had multiple jobs in the automotive and aviation industry, some of those being hands on, while others having more of an administrative and financial background.

Our family started attending Redemption, while it was still called Harvest, back in 2008. I have loved being involved and watching the Lord at work in Women’s, Kids and Small Group Ministries.

One of my favourite verses is Galatians 6:9-10 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
