I grew up in Montreal and moved to London in February 2007. I met my wife Mandie on the way into the church my family started going to, and shortly after we started dating. The rest, as they say, is history.
I started out in the trades building houses in Edmonton. After a short time, I realised that it wasn’t really something I was interested in. I moved back to Montreal and did schooling for electrical and started my apprenticeship. After moving to London I, unfortunately, had to restart my apprenticeship. I attended Fanshawe College for my three block releases and received my Red Seal Certification in Construction Maintenance Electrical in April 2013. Most of my experience since then has been commercial, institutional and renewable energy.
I started attending Redemption (at the time Harvest) in September 2012. I was looking for a new church, praying specifically that I’d find one that taught about the Holy Spirit. That first week, Leo was preaching and his entire message was about the Holy Spirit. I instantly felt that this was the place God wanted me.
I don’t know exactly when it was that I felt pulled to ministry. My wife Mandie and I had been discussing long-term missions for quite a while when I got asked to join the staff.
I am thankful to God for my family. There’s a long story there, some of you may be aware of it already. The super short version is that He restored something broken and made it awesome!
